Homework Policy

1. You will have homework on most nights. You are responsible to have it completed by the next school day unless otherwise specified.
2. Some homework assignments will be collected and graded. There may not be advance notice.
3.  When tests and quizzes are returned to you, they must be signed and given back to the teacher. It is not your parents’ homework to sign it, it is your homework to show it to them and have them sign it.
4. Missed assignments will be recorded on the Weekend Assignment Log that is attached to your folder. Any missed assignments should be made up as soon as possible. When a missed assignment is completed, the log should be signed by your parents and then the teacher.
5. If you frequently miss homework, there may be other consequences such as not participating in a class party.
6. Homework will factor into the final grade for each subject area.
